OK, I just emailed the BBC. According to NP, it was the Royal College of Physicians which created the NEWS2 objective parameters which led to successful results with leronlimab and the company is requesting emergency use approval in GB. Great angle for BBC to provide a scoop with this news. Maybe they read their emails...
