This is what has been concerning to me about the vaccine brouhaha. While it’s possible that Nugenerex will eventually develop a useful vaccine, the odds, regardless of what Joe says, are pretty small. Rather, this has been a months-long distraction from the core tasks at hand: the spin out of Nugenerex, which has some valuable assets, and the green light it will give Generex to continue development of it’s subsidiaries. I believe that we would have been farther down the road to revenue and profitability were it not for this vaccine hunt. Of course I’ll take the windfall if the peptides are successful. But I also want wider use of Excellagen, I want Altucel to give diabetics a reliable treatment, Nugenerex to develop cancer vaccines...that’s the vision I invested in and which I think has been delayed by the pursuit of a vaccine. Yes, make me fabulously wealthy from the vaccine revenues, if that’s to be (which I’m not counting on), but then let’s move on and develop the other Generex assets.
