Probably not. They have no funds to do that kind of marketing. Plus you can't get to most of the wound care clinics easily to do a presentation because of Covid. On top of that, wound care products are plentiful and you have to show your product is something special in the market. Most products have hit/miss commercial insurance coverage from third parties as they are generally lumped together under a non specific Q code. Reimbursement can be challenging. Is there a market? Yes, but the contracted work with the VA was a huge potential market and would need very little ongoing support once things gained traction. Other markets are a lot more effort to get started much less keep going. Proof of concept from the VA would have opened doors.
