The Ecosystem expands! It's not a question of "if" but "how big" it will grow.
Innova has 3 types of covid tests, and MIG USA and MicroGenDX have another 3 combined and all together that's half the actively available tests now in the market.
I haven't researched Innova but looks like they operate facilities in a number of states and also manufacture or own the rights to different covid tests. That's a rare combination and it's own internal ecosystem. They have made their own ecosystem much more efficient by today adding QDX HealthID for test health status and ID management.
If QMC/QDX HEALTHID will be distributing Innova tests, the unanswered questions include how many tests can Innova manufacturer per week now and how fast can they ramp up production? That's also the question for the other two manufacturers mentioned above.
The key word in the PR that jumped out to me is Dr. Huang's use of "worldwide". QMC gives Innova access to worldwide markets by distributing their tests so Dr. Huang can concentrate on building his main business.
Where has QMC found these worldwide clients wanting tests? IMO, The Atlantic Council and business advisor David Bray.
