$VSTR Netcapital, KingsCrowd: In March 2020, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) proposed meaningful changes to multiple securities exemptions. The revised regulations -which we anticipate will be implemented before the end of 2020- increase the offering limits for Regulation A, Regulation Crowdfunding and Rule 504 offerings. They also remove investment limits for accredited investors. The SEC’s actions increase the attractiveness of these options for entrepreneurs and investors. We believe this will enhance the value of funding portals and strengthen the online capital raising process in private equity. We expect these changes to benefit Netcapital, KingsCrowd and ValueSetters’ own business.
