I am as disappointed as any with today's price movement, but not surprised. We as a group recognize the importance of today's results. The rest of the world has not heard or is unable to appreciate what they mean. Too much noise.
Cytodyn SP rocketed to 10 six months ago on hope. Today we have proof, but the "market", in large part composed of tens of millions with short attention spans, is captivated by the most recent shiny new candidate in the covid therapeutic pageant.
I told my brother, who has invested heavily as well in Cytodyn, that this may be the best example he will ever see of market demonstrating irrationality in spite of the economists.
We literally have the best treatment, if not the cure for covid, and the share price finishes down 14%. Hilarious and WTF bemusing all at once.
If I could have guessed how the market would have responded today, I like many here, could have bought today with vanishingly little risk, rather than holding positions for months at a SP little different from today's close.
I know many are looking to the next trigger for price movement, but the market truly has not appreciated, digested or responsed to today's news. These results are too impactful not to be picked up by major media over the next few days.
