When SP in red on good news, I always ask WHY....
Listen I get all the long stories, we have to wait, etc, etc tidbits but the fact remains that to seem viable, SP NEEDS, NEEDS, NEEDS to be in the green UPON the release of a "supposed" great PR.
If it isnt, it is human inclination to ask why isnt it.....the next move is to do some google searches, etc in which you come across all the hit pieces, etc. Whether they legit or not matter not, the raise doubt which is reinforced by a RED SP.
So tomorrow NP truly needs to put on the best CC of his life. He needs to explain how we outperformed not placebo but all the other recognizable drugs out there. He need not SELL this results but MAGNIFY them in a way that everyone can truly appreciate it what they are. He needs to imagine he is setting in front of a hospital board and explain to them why that hospital needs this drug.
Forget about the the shorters, forget about defending, forget about talking about how he doesnt care that people dont trust him or whatever....speak as a doctor, speak as a concerned citizen, speak with the belief in lero that we all have.
Additionally, I personally love when some of the other Drs speak who are leading the respective areas....they are cleaner, to the point and more informative. We are talking about a drug to help with covid, we dont need a CEO pitch, we need a DR Ted talk....
