Shortly after the last results release fiasco, I recommended an ex-big pharma VP-Communication who now consults. Scott Kelly responded with "Thanks for thinking of us, I will share it with the team." I do have some biotech cred - I'm pretty sure he was serious.
No further follow through, but Kelly definitely understands there are resources available. There is more to do than just writing an effective PR.
