I am absolutely speechless that this kind of thing

I am absolutely speechless that this kind of thing can and does happen. I am curious if HIPPA is violated at some level or other rights violations. This is beyond just being a jackass. It is threatening through implication of negative outcome. I am not a lawyer and I do not know the law regarding clinical participants, but it seems similar to opposing counsel contacting a jury member or witness in a lawsuit to influence an outcome. Truly this is alarming.
