This notion of Nader throwing a curve ball at the FDA by going to the UK is silly. This is just business as usual. Nader said months ago they now have a consultant from a big bank, probably someone with big pharma experience, the UK thing is standard operating procedure for any business thinking about expanding access into the global market place. It could also have been at the behest of our future big pharma partner.
Besides, he UK is way ahead of the stodgy old guard FDA by light years. Many drugs and devices get cleared in the UK years before they are approved in the USA. It is very common. Way more effective and available over the counter NSAIDs in the UK is but one example.
