This is exactly why a partnership on COVID with BP is highly unlikely I'm afraid. We talked about this problem many times here. It takes only one approval and the genie is out of the bottle. Gilead and all the rest know this. If Lero is indeed a revolutionary drug as many of us believe it will destroy parts of BP and its related system of political patronage. They know it, we know it. For the same reason all projects of selling Leron to any country within the US imperial dominion have failed already and will remain wet dreams. This has nothing to do with "conspiracy theories" that the small fish loves invoking to defend their fragile sense of the "fairness" of the world they were born into. It's simply a natural defense of the system, its self-preservation instinct at work.
I understand that this is a very grim view of our situation and will be very happy if proved wrong. But I also believe that this view should be kept as a possibility , as well as its logical conclusions: Cytodyn should be prepared to bite the bullet and go on by itself while putting out feelers to see if any of the few remaining SOVEREIGN countries will be interested in our product. And these can be counted on one hand. Besides the United States, they are Russia, China and Iran.
