We know that IV Brilacidin is safe, from the ABSSS

We know that the drug works against the COVID virus, from the laboratory tests so far.
We know that Brilacidin is a powerful antibiotic and anti-inflammatory, from the various clinical trials.
We also know that drugs can gain traction after "compassionate use" treatments that are not part of a clinical trial, but that have anecdotal data, as has happened for Pluristem and Cytodyn.
We also have NO idea what is going on behind the scenes at IPIX, as progress continues with the government lab. Trying to speculate on what's going to happen next is an exercise in futility, as Mr. Ehrlich constantly surprises us with progress for the company.
I don't think ANY of us thought that Brilacidin would be an anti-viral. I know I kind of scoffed at the idea when we saw the initial press releases that it was going to be tested. Whatever the next chapter in the saga is -- it will probably be something we don't expect.
