Good Morning All. Doctor Mitchell called me early this morning (about quarter after 7:00am our time), and was all excited about the articles I posted. Mitchell tells me these two studies are related --- along with another study done about ten years ago by the University of Miss. Doctor Mitchell was all excited about his research regarding CBD and Covid-19, and then spoke of all the other ailments involved. Mitchell talked about the extreme reluctance the medical community has in accepting natural treatments (big pharma controls everything).
Interestingly, I commented that his product could treat millions of people. He responded by saying "no, hundreds of millions." However, the real problem is that research have little interest in studying products that can prevent illness from happening in the first place (used as a daily supplement). The reason is because all the big money is currently in expensive drugs and treatments. So, taking a low cost supplement that might prevent one from getting or developing a problem in the first place is just not important. That thought pattern just might be changing.
I went out on a limb and asked if the White House task force on covid-19 was at all aware of what CBD might do? Mitchell responded that he is pretty sure they are aware, but would not comment further.
