Basic understanding of the market: the stock price will go up, and it will come down. This is fact.
When you have a manipulation of market sentiment, as demonstrated by AF & followers, ie "I shorted and made $272,000 in less than an hour" type statements being flaunted, long term investors are faced with short sellers who are not interested in advancing medicine, instead whose sole interest is making whatever profit they can by any means necessary. This usually results in callous, vicious attacks against scientists, doctors, specialists whose very profession is to save lives, and improve quality of life. Their attacks are nothing more than an attempt to sow doubt and fear, which artificially drove the SP well below its valuation.
Put CYDY (OTC small cap company) in perspective with the general stock market. As a whole, the major indices have seen more volatility in the last six months alone than the last ten years. The highs are significantly higher, and the lows drastically lower, swinging so wildly from moment to moment, it's no wonder most investors are paralyzed by fear.
This has created significant amounts of confusion, doubt, and fear, leading to the chaotic fluctuations of the SP. Many investors are confused by contradictory information, uncertain what to believe, in the era of fake news, people doubt, pull out, especially after what happened just over a month ago, (which was literally breathtaking. Those of you who saw your tens or hundred thousand+ vanish in a puff of smoke in a few minutes know what I mean). Investors are scared away, as they should be, for they have nothing to go on other than conjecture and speculation.
Investors who have experience with biotech and how clinical trials operate, know the timeline isn't days, weeks, or months. They know it is years. It would be prudent to understand the factors at play here are too many to simply pinpoint, or blame just one thing, one person, or one group, or some simple combination of these factors. It is a much larger, and broader arena.
Stay focused on the science. Listen to the medical community, tune out the fear mongering, and hold. Think 2008 crisis, SP will come back up eventually.
