Do you think a drug (such as Rems...) could have a high SI and not prove a real blockbuster treatment in human testing, because to date that is what I feel has been the story regarding Rems....
When you have to change the endpoints of a trial and eliminate the mortality figures I personally question the entire trial.
I am probably in the distinct minority that believe Rems... is where it is at today thanks to lots of payola. But then it is what it is and we will see from the current trial if I am judging it far too harshly or not.
Whatever the results, I don't think they will prove justification for the cost of Rems.... treatment. Think B will prove much more effective and here we are hoping IPIX is able to reduce the treatment cost significantly for the sake of the world. Anybody think that has crossed the mind of Gilead execs, to try and lower the price of Rems... to help the world??
