I don't think you are able to land the kind of finance deal that we did without strong data.

I think its far more likely that he mispoke about hitting one endpoint. Add to this that the NEWS2 endpoint is the one he is referring to, and it is intertwined with many of the other endpoints. So, I find it difficult to believe that NEWS2 was met, but not others. Deeper dive:

This score is based on 7 clinical parameters (respiration rate, oxygen saturation, any supplemental oxygen, temperature, systolic blood pressure, heart rate, level of consciousness). Higher scores mean a worse outcome.
Given that NEWS2 measures (among other things) respiration rate, oxygen saturation and supplemental oxygen, it stands to reason that endpoint # 9 "Incident of oxygen use" would follow the same trend.
