If they don't dial in live, they can catch the replay. I don't see that it matters which day the conference call is held at 4:30 PM. If someone is truly interested, they will dial in live, or listen to the replay, or read the transcript.
They are releasing earnings on the date they were scheduled to, just like every quarter, about 90 days after the quarter ends.
Rory already put out a preview of the earnings a few weeks ago, so there shouldn't be much surprise in the earnings numbers.
