The PCT Annihilyzer® System
Overview: The PCT Annihilyzer® System is a turnkey on-site generation (OSG) unit that effectively generates, dispenses and manages Hydrolyte® and Catholyte Free™ solutions. Hydrolyte® is an effective sanitizer and hospital-grade disinfectant. Catholyte Free™ is an effective mild detergent, surfactant and degreaser. These products are no more toxic than water and much safer and eco-friendly than traditional cleaning products such as bleach, ammonia.
These products together with the other PCT Annihilyzer® System components provide facilities operators with a vast array of cleaning, sanitizing and disinfection solutions. The PCT Annihilyzer® System uses Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to allow cleaning personnel to effectively track the use and lifecycle of the products, which rooms have been treated, when, by whom and whether it was done properly.
PCT Annihilyzer® System Components
The PCT Annihilyzer® Kiosk & Filling Station
The Kiosk, which sits on top of the Filling Station Cabinet, houses The PCT Annihilyzer® System’s computer controls, information system, RFID tagging and reading system and an interactive touch screen display.
The Filling Station Cabinet houses the product generator equipment with controller, holding tanks, product dispensing system and a sink with a connection to the facility water system. On-site generation is necessary as the financial and environmental costs of continual shipping of fresh ready-to-use product are prohibitive. in the past, on-site generators were large 220v units and cost prohibitive. Our efficient, “right-sized” and Green Seal™ Certified 110v Generators plug right into a regular outlet and connect to the existing water supply. The generators produce Hydrolyte® solution by passing weak salt brine through an electrolytic cell and temporarily changing the chemical properties of the salt water into a powerful oxidizing agent, Hydrolyte®, and cleanser, Catholyte Free™.
The PCT Annihilyzer® Patented Monitoring, Tracking & Reporting System
Expiration Date Tracking
The PCT Annihilyzer® uses patented and patent pending RFID/NFC technology to manage the product expiration and usage information. When a container is filled, an expiration date is assigned to the container and imprinted on the RFID tag embedded in the bottle’s label. The system keeps track of who filled the container and when. If an expired container is presented at the Kiosk, the PCT Annihilyzer® alerts the user to empty and refill it, insuring the quality of the product contents.
Room & Labor Tracking
Each room is outfitted with an RFID checkpoint decal.
Using our mobile app and a mobile data terminal (MDT), users will “tap-in” to each room before beginning to clean and sanitize it.
After following proper cleaning and infection control procedures provided through the system to the MDT, the user will “tap out” at the checkpoint, recording the time the room was completed and the duration of time in the room.
Then the app will prompt users on the MDT screen to select which tasks were performed creating a room report. This powerful “cloud-based” reporting tool allows managers to access valuable data for follow-up inspections, daily records of cleaning routines, and a variety of summary reports for analysis and planning. Each RFID Checkpoint Decal has a unique QR Code that can be scanned by any smartphone, allowing even patients’ family members to see the room report - when last cleaned, by whom and what was done.
Mobile Data Terminals (MDT’s)
Supervisors and personnel while working in the cleaning, sanitizing or disinfecting process will have a Juniper Systems Cedar CT5 MDT with which to input information into the system and to receive instructions (protocols) for which specific tasks are to be performed in each room or area.
