Scott Kelly may be a smart guy, but nearly all of his appearances on the conference calls sound like he's reading prepared statements. Only during the occasional unscripted question does he sound like a true science guy in the vein of Bruce Patterson. He should be the science PR successor to Dr. P. He's the Chief Science Officer!
