I don’t think the political ramifications can be ignored. Absent a solution to the virus before Nov. 3 the current administration is in real trouble. They know it, hence “warp speed”. Why it seems to focus on vaccines considering their waning timeline is odd.
The opposition also knows the vulnerability of their opponents. They are leading in most polls due mainly to the affects of the virus. If any Effective treatment were to be delayed it would be to their benefit.
I’m not exposing any conspiracy theories. Just putting in writing what many are thinking. A lot of factors involved.
