I do not understand why AF is not in jail for the scam he pulled last April with GILD. I will give a short synopsis of what he did and then add a few links.
On April 16 there was a huge buyer in the APR calls that would expire the next day. Since only one day remained until expiration these calls were going to be worthless in 24 hours unless GILD had a huge gain in that 24 hours.
Statnews published the GILD "early peak" story and GILD stock closed Thur Apr 16 at 76.54 and opened on Friday Apr 17 at 85.17. The calls made "somebody" a ton of money!!
That weekend the SEC was all over this obvious fraud and Congress was involved as well. I never heard of any indictments but this was such an obvious scam. I had heard of the strange huge call purchase so I watched the happen.
GILD said they were not involved with the leaked story. The stock fell back for a week or two then when Rem was named SOC by Fauci GILD went up. Ever since GILD is heading down since Rem is crap.
