If I broke my arm, i would go to a doctor, not to a journalist.
Like it or not, leronlimab is just not that well-known (YET!), so how does a doctor, especially at smaller hospitals, go about researching it for his patients?
Let's say she starts with a basic Google search of the name, and up pops something like "OTC STOCK FRAUD! CEO CLAIMS FAKE DRUGS WORK!" With the name of STAT News backing it, you can just imagine a doctor completely disregarding it and moving on to all the other drugs vying for her attention.
That's why this is so insidious and nasty.
