I hate to say it as I hate them too, but part of me really can’t blame them when CYDY makes it so easy for them.
It’s not that the call yesterday didn’t provide good data. It did and I’m very encouraged by it. But we were lead to believe there would be more. Now the folks that have been here see some time have come to take NP’s predictions of timing with a mine of salt. To his credit he’s gotten better about making these predictions.
I wonder about the power structure at CYDY. Does NP listen to his fellow staffers? Does he encourage input even if it’s critical or is it his way or the highway?
SK sounds very sharp. Does he have a say in what gets said?
In my line of work (captain at major airline) it used to be nobody EVER questioned the captain. After a few smoking holes in the ground it was correctly determined what was needed was a more equitable work environment in the cockpit. Captain still has the final say, but he’s gotta listen to AND encourage input from his copilot. It works, flying has gotten safer.
I once had a doctor tell me this was needed in medicine as well. Senior physicians not listening and actively discouraging input from more junior doctors. Does this culture exist at CYDY?
We call this process CRM. Crew Resource Management. Maybe call it Cytodyne Resource Management in this case.
Anyway I guess in a few weeks or so it may not matter once the top line report is release and presented to the FDA.
