"I think the changes that we're bringing to the epidemic of opioid as a alternative transdermal delivery technology that includes CBD and other cannabis type products as an alternative medication today for that epidemic, basically, UNIVEC Conglomerate today is a whole integrated system where we have our own products, our own network of 70,000 pharmacies, our own CARF accredited mental health & substance abuse clinics, our own virtual healthcare- wellness teledoc delivery system, and it's all tied into appropriate research so that we know what the outcome is. With our transdermal delivery patches, we've been able to verify that the reduction in opioid prescribing has been over 25% as an alternative to the medications as prescribed today. We've been providing Johns Hopkins with methadone for over the last 15 years. When the farm bill was passed, such the CBD can be given to the marketplace. They gave us a real opportunity for our transdermal delivery system and our use of that transdermal patch."
