That's a bullshit claim. From the desegregation of the military going forward every major extension of civil rights was supported by Dems and opposed by most Republicans.
THAT'S one reason Blacks don't vote in significant numbers for Republicans. The other is that The GOP is the party supported by white supremacists, KKK, anti-Semites and free range bigots.
Lastly, there are more blacks employed in more professions than there were before RW morons were preventing them for voting or from going to desegregated schools. THEY know that even though you don't.
The Democratic Party has caused ALL the problems of Black people by destroying the Black family unit with a destructive welfare system, now 5 generations deep. All this to bribe them to vote for their own destruction.
