Very valid question.
As you point out, the immunological memory depends on two fighting agents: long-lived plasma cells (that produce the good/fighting antibodies) and memory B cells.
There is no direct mention on any of the papers I have read about the Memory B cells themselves, however, these should be able to respond to reinfection and there have been some (anecdotal) reports of this happening.
As one of the papers mentions more studies are needed, but the road to a successful COVID vaccine is getting complicated.
