The speed of progress regarding Covid-19 is affect

1) Money
We are limping along, making progress in spite of not having BARDA money
and GNBT's S-1 still in limbo with the SEC. Thankfully, we have some really solid scientists and partners who helped developed our plan and want to see it move along. Still, bills come due and Joe is doing his best to find funds, which in some cases can amount to real money. Into the millions when getting things to the point we can get real progress with the FDA.
2) Lab testing time
My normal lab turnaround time is 1-2 days. With all the CV-19 testing being done it is taking double that amount of time and sometimes more. Right now if we have a moderately ill patient and need labs I am sending them to the ER. If you have been paying attention to the news you will have heard of testing taking a week for Covid testing. Imagine if you are a specialty lab with a small highly specialized staff concentrating on research projects like vaccines or therapies like leronlimab. Under normal circumstances one would be lucky to have those results, get them interpreted and be able to move forward in 2-3 weeks.Getting testing done within a couple, three weeks in this environment would be quite an accomplishment.
