I agree that it is good to have him defend his tec

Honestly, I do not really know why most of you think that this last pr from yesterday is such good news!? What I have read out of it, was - reading between the lines of course - "we are fed up with waiting for the BARDA decision, 11 weeks into the application" and "for some reason we managed to waist another 10 days, as we are still not done with the lab tests, but they will start next week".
And, BTW, I am quite sure that we will not see a recoding or transcript of the cc, because as long as someone may have heard something that is questionable if they were allowed to say it, now they can still claim that to be a misunderstanding, but in case they would provide a record or even searchable text of it, then there is no way anymore for that.
Rant over. Sorry, I am just having my little difficulties to maintain my positive attitude, when all I keep hearing is delay, delay and once again delay. Sure we will all be able to make up for it, because our technology is so superior to everything else out there, still other companies receive 100 of millions of dollars in public funding, while we wait 11 weeks for Godot (for those, who do not know, who that is, it is a play called "waiting for Godot", and as it turns out the guy does not show up until the end of the play. So every character in the play was waiting in vain.)
Why can't we at least get a proper update on the current situation and why it just again took longer than initially anticipated, expected or thought. Is it that money is tight, hasn't they realized that trying to win a race, one has to be doing things with a fast pace?
Anyways, I am just frustrated and would like to see these guys stop talking or defending how great gnbt's technology is, but to demonstrate it and show the world how quickly this can be turned into a workung, approved and mass produced vaccine.
Rant done really over now. Good night from Germany.
