NP has stated many times in the past he wanted to release M/M results and S/C safety review together. And today's delay does feed into that strategy. But why the insistence to synchronize? The only reason I can think of is not a positive one, that the M/M efficacy results are not as "powerful" as we would have liked, and thus needs good S/C interim results. Can anyone think of a good reason why NP would pursue this strategy?
