In the late 1960's California was the place to move to. Oh how times have changed, thanks to Democrats. My neighbors son, age 32 just fled California and moved to Minnesota where he grew up. Sky high cost of living,taxes inconceivable, nice wages, but he figures he can do better here in Taxesota with half the income, and less threats to his safety.
