1. Lack of investor interest or knowledge of GNBT and what they potentially have or
2. A conspiracy to hold down the price and therefore the ability of the company to continue to thrive or even survive.
Doc's comment about GNBT checking with SEC to see if anything untoward is occurring sounds right to me to eliminate #2 as a possibility.
Personally, I just think this is an unknown company that currently has no way to become known other than to produce. While the news today is excellent (and the PR was well written, particularly the part about how long the antibodies last and what that means), it doesn't as yet add any monetary value to the stock (only potential of monetary value). While this would normally affect a stock's pps, GNBT has shown it is anything but normal. So this reaction isn't completely unexpected, in my mind.
A BARDA award OTOH would add monetary value; if that doesn't raise the pps, then something is really wrong or somebody is manipulating the pps. Unfortunately, unless we know who, how and why, there isn't much any stock holder can do about it.
