(PINKSHEETS: PWEI) announced today the finalization of the Company's negotiations regarding acquiring part or all of DayStar Technologies, Inc.'s Solar Technology Line of CIGS technology, in a deal some analyst's value in excess of $50 Million USD. The synergy of the acquisition would allow PacWest to expand revenue, increase margin, and vertically integrate their automated food growing systems.

The deal will include or be limited to the ownership of all of DayStar's solar assets, including its proprietary differentiated manufacturing process to produce low-cost monolithically integrated, silicon-free CIGS-on-glass modules that address the grid-tied, ground-based Solar (PV) market.
