The blow to wages is truly stunning. Clear that many firms cut wages to preserve staff and cash amidst what they thought would be a transitory event. How long will the event be considered transitory?

FYI - if you’re using a macro model now with wage stickiness to get monetary policy to affect real economy ... wages are being cut, first time since Great Depression. dynamics and policy advice depend on details and should fit the real world
