My average is .01052. Excited about our future here. As a kidney transplant recipient of over 19 years, I actively reach out to help others waiting for transplants. I also live my life to the fullest and participate every 2 years in the Transplant Games of America, where thousands of recipients and donor families get together and compete in athletic events. Most importantly, it is about being an advocate for Organ, Eye and tissue donation. We are constantly fund raising to get us where we are going every 2 years. Our games were cancelled this year in New Jersey, but were rescheduled for July of 2021. They just announced today that the 2022 Games will be in San Diego. I hate fund raising, so I look forward to having the extra money to get us to the Games as well as helping others on my "Team Oklahoma" get there as well. But the highlight of my journey was when I was honored to ride on the Donate Life America Rose Bowl parade float on January 1, 2019. My donor, Sandy was also honored on the float and I was able to carry her photo during the parade. She is a hero as are all donors and all deserve to be remembered forever. Organ donation not only saves lives makes a difference in the lives of everyone around the recipient. Sorry to go on like this, but I really look forward to doing my part to change the lives of those around me. Thanks to all of the DD masters on this board. All of you are making a difference.
