This is the best article I've ever read about vaccine development. It's long but it is so well-written that it's still a quick read. I have MUCH more confidence in this vaccine's safety than I do in MRNA's vaccine.

They also talk about the dangers of a vaccine which can make the disease WORSE in people who get infected. This should be a cautionary tale to anyone who thinks they should just rush a vaccine to approval.
