Great news/bad news. The great news is the announced plan
Great news/bad news. The great news is the announced plan for a FDA Phase 2 CV19 trial and the application with the FDA for a CV19 Investigational New Drug (IND). The bad news is that it appears human trials will not take place until Q4 which appears to be due to “the manufacturer’s timeline”.
Today’s announcement does not change my outlook on the success of IPIX whatsoever from what I spelled out in my recent post #65432. As I previously stated the George Mason University RBL is contracted to complete the advanced testing of Brilacidin next month. As a long term investor my expectations of human trials starting a month or two later than I had anticipated is a minor disappointment. My biggest frustration is that the entire worldwide population needs an effective CV19 treatment ASAP. I strongly believe Brilacidin will be that treatment so my long term outlook as an IPIX investor remains extremely positive. I believe once the RBL testing is complete in August that both peer review studies will be published. The outstanding lab data will drive government grant funding for IPIX IMO. In the meantime I believe Leo is doing everything in his power to position and supply Brilacidin for human trials.
I have been adamant about the ongoing criminal control and compression of IPIX SP. The announced timeline unfortunately gives the criminals a couple more months to manipulate and control IPIX SP UNTIL we see the announcement of grant funding, peer review studies and the initiation of human trials. There is also the possibility of the PHRI testing results could result in some type of trial, funding and/or or business activity. CV19 is a worldwide pandemic so there could be separate non-US based initiatives that could be announced at any time. A B-IBD Oral trial could also be announced at any time. As these milestones are announced we will have an abundance of new investor demand as IPIX gets worldwide recognition. This new investor demand will create a big challenge for the criminals as REAL volume will tip supply/demand driving IPIX SP upwards. In the short term investors have an opportunity to take advantage of cheap shares that could be very valuable in a few short months.
