Yes, I saw that- the shale in Israel is not utilized because Israel prohibits fracking-
obviously as a desert country for a long time -ever since the ottoman empire taxes on trees forced the widespread cutting of trees in israel -which helped desiccate the land-pollution concerns re rivers and creeks would be heightened
I always kind of wondered if Israels prohibition of fracking contributed to ZN stopping its acid testing on the last well because such could be considered fracking -especially if used on a larger scale
