You're right.
The reason we have flu vaccines is because flu antibodies do convey immunity.
We have only experienced Covid-19 in the USA for 6-7 months. Early-on it was thought that Covid-19 Antibodies would also convey immunity of some sort.
There is no consensus on immunity now so I guess that's why QMC is stressing it's health status reporting ability, which has always been it's main function.
