My frustration with today's call had very little to do with Nader's communication skills, poor spelling, or the horrific quality of the platform is was broadcast on. What has me perturbed is the fact that as of 3 hours ago I am under the belief (instilled by NP himself just a few days ago) that we have finally arrived and are about to show the world what we can do to save lives right away with the unveiling of the data from the P2./3 SC trial. Was I misled, or did the plan change? Did the plan change because somebody with more experience in such matters advised against cutting the trial short, or did it change because the FDA told them to? Either way, the data from trail that I though would have the most immediate impact has been pushed off 60+ days. By that time, several well capitalized competitors have their data public and their lobbies shaking hands in Washington....now can the m/m P2 trial completely overwhelm the FDA with 80 patient data? Perhaps, but I would say it's unlikely to do so in a manner that avoids a P3 trial. I believe that our product works on COVID, but I also believe that we have surrendered a large lead. We could easily be on the backside of the pandemic before we finish P3 trials.
