Yes this would create a breakout to the upside from the formation. Also would like to note the textbook example or the link I provided from investopedia does mention that by measuring the initial high and low of the beginning of the triangle gives us a rough estimate of how much the price may move from the point of the breakout. In are case with a high of 8.00 and low around 5.00 that would be a potential 3.00
Move from the breakout point is at about 6.00 .... So breakout could potentially hit 9.00 and a breakdown would put it back at 3.00. Move can happen over more than a single day.
Now I am fairly new so how accurate this is time will tell.
