Reallypeople, I am sorry some would accuse you of not knowing the trial can't be stopped by the company, we all know the company can't stop a trial for data because they can't see it, duh.
My extrapolation of your question is why the Data and Safety Monitoring Boards (DSMBs) at the FDA has not stepped in (as you know they are typically who would or could step in and do that)
A..We are all waiting for the supply truck before they open the barn door and let the horses run.
