GILD has had four 2 for 1 splits since 2001 when it traded in $3-$4 range. That means it actually traded for about .25 in 2001 compared to it's current $75. Along the way it hit $120 in 2015 and began paying dividends in June 2016.
Of course we all remember all the miracle drugs they have produced like ???? Help me out here I seem to have forgotten GILD's miracle drugs.
