I know the "b"uyout word isn't popular, but this is the most plausible option that's going through my mind. If I was going to make a bid for the drug of the century and I could start accumulating at 5-10 bucks then make an offer for the rest at 30-40...I just got a steal of a deal. Especially when how many million have traded hands in the last week or so? Also I made the stock rise so when the BOD of the acquiring company looks at current price vs offer price it's not such a big disparity. Was mentioned several times no BP is going to offer double digits for a 30 cent stock....well we are almost double digits so a big price tag isn't so far fetched now is it?
If most of the BPs shares were acquired at 5-10 I can up the ante on the rest and not have to pay that much for all 700 million shares. It makes more sense than large institutions because I'm not so sure they can buy on the OTC.
Just because we don't want it doesn't mean it's not going to happen. You tell me I'm crazy and I'll say NP hasn't been in front of a camera in over 2 weeks and even today a PR with no proactive video. Speculation it is but it makes sense. I'm ok to be wrong or right. If an acquisition gets leronlimab to patients faster I'll give up that quadruple digit stock price and supposed dividends. I'll be wealthy either way but human life means more.
