I would like to see the Board of Directors award stock options to Joe even if the Veneto deal didn't work out. Others might. Options on a million to two million shares might make him think about GNBT once in a while. I believe he has 3 million options for NGIO, and NGIO is where all the action is now.
Maybe that is where we need to be. Without cash all of our other options are dormant. Those need to be activated, too. I am dumbfounded that we are not making Covid-19 testing kits. The diabetes initiative is dormant. That should be big for us.
Hope Joe can find some cash.
I am dismayed that BARDA gave Moderna $483 million for mRNA vaccines because I am not at all clear that will work. I get that RNA is good way to make proteins, but it mutates so much that you have to keep it under liquid nitrogen.
Moderna may be a triumph of lobbyists.
