for the last 1,5 days I have basically been offline, and just took the time to read through all the posts from Friday after hours and yesterday.
Here is my take on those posts and the news from Friday.
Most interesting is to notice one thing and that is that a lot of posters interpret the information given in the PR in the most negative possible way.
From the fact that the CC will be held after hours on Friday, July 10th, at least some folks here immediately see dark clouds in the sky, because Joe will "surely have negative news for us, and wants to give us time to digest it over the weekend, before we actually be able to immediately hit the "sell" buton.". Why so negative? The same line of thoiught could as well be turned 180 degrees.
How about JoeM wanting to present AMAZING BIG NEWS to us, and selects the Friday evening time slot, such that nobody can complain afterwards, that he/she has learned about this information later than others? So he schedules the CC on a Friday after hours, presents us the BIG NEWS and gives everybody time to digest and get on the same page, until the stock market reopens on Monday morning!?
Nobody knows his thinking/intention until we are past the Friday 10th CC. So why not use this current situation of not knowing in a positive sense? As long as I do not know better, I am trying everything to stay positive, and then see what happens.
Just an observation that I have made when I read a couple of posts, I guess it was from Friday evening/night.
Regarding the PR itself.
I can agree with some other posters, that these are exciting times. Everything took much longer than expected, but now we seem to be getting to the final straight of that race.
And I also agree with others, who assume that Joe puts the CC 2 weeks into the future, and not just announces it today, to be held on Monday, because he expects some other events to be happening in the time between the PR from last Friday and the CC in 2 weeks time.
So the next 2 weeks could get very exciting, if you would be asking me.
Will I be buying more shares?
Nope, I already have a very unhealthy overweight of my own invested money in GNBT (currently ~50% of my own capital invested in GNBT) and at the current level, I am about 40% in the money already (I invested most of that money into GNBT even before the first 20:1 dividend, and the average pps does not even include any value for my NGIO/AE dividend shares, which have actually been taken out of my account again last week), so even at the current low level, I cannot average down any further. But, of course, I would really like to see BIG, HUGE OR HUMONGOUS News coming and after that the PPS being multiplied by 10, 50 or even 100, that would be almost life changing for me, as it would actually get me much closer to the day when I will retire as well, even though I am still in my 40ies.
So let's stay positive and think about all the amazing possible news that Joe will be presenting us in little less than 2 weeks from now, and what we can expect to happen until then.
There is one additional thing, that we all should keep in mind, and that is that Joe's situation is that of a "do or die", as he would only be handsomely compensated for his efforts, if he has brought GNBT to full fruition. It is Joe who has invested more than 3 years of his life into GNBT, while all we did was investing some of our money. So I am 100% sure that he will always just do what is in the best interest for the company and us shareholders.
