With record cases and deaths every day, and the 4th of July next Saturday, I see no signs the spread of CV19 will slow down.
Getting CV19 does not guarantee immunity, or that you will not have lung or organ damage, and even young people have died from it.
The best mask, the N95 doesn't guarantee you won't be infected, and any lesser cloth or paper masks increases your risk, but they are better than nothing because they can maybe stop larger droplets. Get the best you can, use it, and clean it.
I think part of the reason for the spread increasing is that people have let their guard down. in boxing, that's when you get KO'd! Some stores run out of antibacterial wipes and hand sanitizer so take your own with you and use them liberally first thing when you get back in your car.
One small silver lining is that companies are being more socially responsible and testing their employees, and socially distancing. They understand that they need to take steps to prevent more spreading of the CV19.
QMC's type of rapid antibody testing finds who is recently infected so they can receive care sooner, by quarantine and treatment, and stop the spread by contact tracing. Whether there is immunity or not, the test tells who is infected so it's spread can be stopped. That's the first steps in flattening the curve.
Stay safe, stay healthy!
