So, today I did something I haven’t done in the four years invested in CYDY. I actually sold some shares (albeit a very small amount of my total). I’ve been developing a “plan” for recouping my original investment for months, but due to the recent stock price escalation, I really started fine tuning the plan in the last few days. It was actually a very difficult decision, but one that I think is smart and the right decision for me. I sold 2.5% of my holdings in CYDY today in lots between $6-6.25. By doing so, I was able to recoup a little over 50% of my investment (which to me is amazing), and still have 97.5% of my shares! Being heavily invested for all these years, it will take a little of the stress off of the SP swings going forward knowing that I have half of my original money back. At this point, I’m going to see what the next month brings before doing anything else. It’s definitely feasible that I could recoup my entire original investment and still have over 95% of my shares. At that point, I can let the rest ride for as long as I’d like and start planning an early retirement.
Anyway, the subject of selling, and when to do it has been raised over the last several months by several on this board, with many having opinions. I just figured I’d be the first to come clean and say what I did (I feel like I’m telling on myself, like it’s a bad thing
