https://www.quantummaterialscorp.com/qdx-heal...duct-brief as this isn't going away soon: The US breaks its national record for the highest number of new COVID-19 cases in a single day on Wednesday.
If this is incorporated into the business world and I don't see why it couldn't be, as a company security program, it would be a cheap security verification process. It could replace the company ID badge/ key card with a process incorporating security levels with health limitations and any other pertinent information.
I can see it replacing the ignition key and house key on a smaller version in the future. One card all access.
Extract from the two page Product Brief: QDX™ HealthID
QDX™ HealthID is a secure, trusted, always-on service that provides end-to-end visibility to support
testing and immunization for infectious diseases on a global scale, as well as associated back-to-work
programs for individuals that are verifiably clear of a disease.
Visibility into the test status of individuals for specific diseases, such as the COVID-19 coronavirus
pandemic, is vital for coordinating healthcare responses and delivering treatment programs. Likewise,
insight into a person’s health and immunization status is paramount when considering whether that
individual should be allowed to socialize in proximity with others in the community and – crucially – the
workforce. As such, QDX™ HealthID provides an easy to manage and user friendly “Health Card” that
can be configured to comply with the health status compliance requirements of different governments
and health agencies.
While health status and compliance visibility are fundamental requirements to address both population
health and economic rebuilding imperatives, they are only useful when based on processes and data
that are trusted and provably accurate.
QDX™ HealthID is designed to underpin the collection of accurate, authentic and verifiable
data. In particular, the service:
1. Ensures that an individual’s identity and testing status is authenticated and validated – e.g. that an
individual’s identity was corroborated using physical identification, such as a passport, a driver’s license or
other official documentation, that they were tested on a particular date using a certified test kit, and that
their test result has been properly recorded.
2. Ensures that the identity of the person administering the test, such as a medical professional, a caregiver,
or an individual self-administering the test, is authenticated and approved — e.g. that a physician’s or
nurse’s identity and their license credentials were corroborated by appropriate identification, for
instance, a health certificate as required by a particular jurisdiction or agency.
3. Ensures that the test kit used is authentic and has been shipped from a validated manufacturer to the
point of use via a verifiable chain of custody or trust – e.g. the test kit is not a counterfeit, is from an
approved manufacturer, and has been transported to the place of use in a secure manner.
4. Provides a valuable channel for healthcare agencies to communicate with individuals, offering them the
ability to schedule a test at the nearest available testing center.
5. Presents an individual’s authenticated and verifiable health and immunization status as a user-friendly
and intuitive Health Card, which can be configured to comply with immunization, testing and health status
processes and definitions in different states, regions, and countries.

6. Provides, in compliance with data privacy laws in various states, regions, and countries, on-demand test
result data to the individual that has been tested, the person administering the test and to relevant
healthcare and government agencies. – e.g. individuals can receive their test results as soon as they are
available and share the results with others who require that information to administer care, provide
benefits or monitor the spread of the disease.
The QDX™ HealthID Card
QDX™ HealthID is implemented as a secure, user-friendly
smartphone app that presents a comprehensive testing,
immunization and health status of an authenticated individual.
Individuals receive their test result as soon as it is available and
may share the results with others who require that information
to administer care, provide benefits or monitor the spread of the
disease.
The simple and intuitive color-coded immunity status can be
configured to comply with health status definitions, standards
and workflow processes in operation in different states, regions,
and countries, such as HIPAA in the US – e.g.
Individual has been vaccinated; or
Individual has anti-bodies in the bloodstream
that suggests immunity; or
Individual has been issued a certificate from an
authorizing authority
The QR code would be scanned to provide fuller health status
and personal information to others requiring and authorized to
receive it, such as an employer, a customer, a retail service, a
healthcare provider, a law enforcement or immigration official or
a government agency.
The QDX™ HealthID service leverages Quantum Materials Corp’s QDX™ Platform
technology, which is designed to ensure authenticity and validation of people, products
and processes delivered via a trusted end-to-end supply chain from manufacture to point
of retail. Technical highlights of the service include:
• Open architecture support for test kits from different manufacturers and tests for both presence of a
disease and for antibodies associated with the disease.
• Support for multiple methods of determining individual and product authenticity, such as integration with
open-source Auth0 mechanisms, capture of QR codes and tight integration with authentication products
incorporating QDX™ Dot optical signatures.
• Supports multiple languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin).
• Runs on a scalable BTP Sextant-managed Hyperledger Sawtooth immutable audit log, which captures
every interaction, including authenticated individuals, test kits, test results and access requests for data.
• Delivery via Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform, for global reach, high performance, scalability and security.
• Storage of data in Azure’s hosted database, which complies with ISO 27001, ISO 27018, CSA Gold certified,
HIPAA and HITRUST healthcare standards.
• Ready integration with common EMR and analytics systems, leveraging FHIR/HL7-compatible data
standards, open APIs and the Digital Asset Modeling Language (DAML).
