I just sent this email to Melanie Cole who did the interview that you discovered:
ATTN: Melanie Cole
I just read a transcript of an interview you did on Aug.13, 2007 with Nick Landekic. he was the President, CEO, Director and Co-Founder of PolyMedix.
PolyMedix went bankrupt a few years ago: Their assets were bought by a company that has continued the work on the important drug that you discussed. Innovation Pharmaceuticals (IPIX) has renamed the drug Brilacidin. In addition to the antibacterial properties that you and Mr. Landekic discussed, Brilacidin has antiviral properties and is in testing for possible use against the COV19 virus. The stock of IPIX, a tiny company, has more than tripled in the last few days. Here is a link to a press release from June 17, 2020:

Its been a long difficult path for this drug, but it may be about to get the recognition it deserves. I encourage you to investigate this company. Feel free to share this information with your colleagues and listeners.
In my opinion, Brilacidin is the penicillin of the 21st century.
Disclosure: I am a shareholder of IPIX.
Thanks,
George Harvey
