What I just posted makes me feel alot better about SFOR . DSS does not say in this restructuring document anything about going in a different direction from their agreement. To the contrary, ACS/SFOR seem to be part of the new strategy (from the 1/24/2020 SEC filing):

We have already entered into partnerships with existing direct marketing companies to access not only the U.S. markets but also the Canadian, Asian and Pacific Rim markets. We believe that this new business venture can significantly raise revenues and help DSS in its global branding .
To help guide our entry into this market, DSS has several Board members and executive team members who have years of sales, marketing, operational and lending experience in this industry. We estimate that at least $3.5 million of the funds to be raised in this offering will be invested over the next 12 months into this business line.
